Felicia's Love Makes Dreams Work

As patrons come in and watch the artists at work, they are immediately silenced both verbally and physically by Felicia's piece.  They stop to think, appreciate and feel her poignant vision.  Felicia came in this Sunday with her husband Jim to add more stilling-movement (if you will) to her piece.  A fan blows the tissues and butterflies, a reflection-less, embellished mirror hangs above the antler and branch adorned period chair, and wisps of white paper, almost like snow, fall about and sit below the chair.  All parts of the installation remain white.  One must wonder why her work, usually so overcome with a soft sadness, suddenly appears simultaneously lifted and calmed.... as taut as a ballerina, as glowing as a new bride, and as rested as white rumpled sheets on a Sunday morning ...with the promise of something inevitable to come.  Vote for Felicia here: http://prairieart.org/Felicia.asp
