SIU's "Art Expression" class, offered by the SIU School of Medicine and the University of Illinois at Springfield in cooperation with the Prairie Art Alliance was featured in the State Journal Register April 17. The class is held in the Prairie Art Alliance classroom in the Hoogland Center for the Arts for Alzheimer's patients and their caretakers. Read the article here.

The Prairie Art Alliance works hard to reach out to the community with art programs. We offer studio space for the Community Support Network, classes to Sojourn Shelter & Services, Inc., and offer scholarship opportunities, amongst other outreach efforts.
