The Prairie Art Alliance offers Springfield two gallery locations, a classroom, studios, outreach,and dozens of arts related events and activities throughout the year.  We give members a place to exhibit, work and grow and offer the public educational opportunities and the respite and renewal of fine art exhibits in their community.  We also reach under-served populations through art classes, art therapy, and complimentary space usage.

Prairie Art Alliance Artist Member Liz Drake, gourd artist and amateur photographer, has created an online photo sharing critique forum for PAA members and the public on Gallery II's Facebook fanpage.  "Our  first photo challenge, I will give you a few extra days head start for our first one---is---'Things are Looking Up in Downtown Springfield, IL'.  Go get your camera, shoot a few pics and post them here to share and have fun, get honest feedback," says Drake on the page.

Every so often she will offer photographers a new challenge.  Drake hopes that a community of sharing, learning and growing will develop on a local level -- all without leaving your home.  Visit Gallery II's fanpage here.
