 "Go Art" T-Shirts!

Support a community that includes the visual arts.

The strength of the visual arts in a community has the power to transform not only its culture, but its businesses, job growth, tourism, and general economic prosperity.
Don't believe us?  Check it out.

The Prairie Art Alliance offers Springfield two gallery locations, a classroom, studios, outreach, and dozens of arts related events and activities throughout the year.  We give members a place to exhibit, work and grow and offer the public educational opportunities and the respite and renewal of fine art exhibits in their community.  We also reach under-served populations through art classes, art therapy, and complimentary space usage.

Let everyone know you support the arts in Springfield, IL!

Reaching Out with Art

SIU's "Art Expression" class, offered by the SIU School of Medicine and the University of Illinois at Springfield in cooperation with the Prairie Art Alliance was featured in the State Journal Register April 17.  The class is held in the Prairie Art Alliance classroom in the Hoogland Center for the Arts for Alzheimer's patients and their caretakers.  Read the article

The Prairie Art Alliance works hard to reach out to the community with art programs.  We offer studio space for the Community Support Network, classes to Sojourn Shelter & Services, Inc., and offer scholarship opportunities, amongst other outreach efforts.
